Projects range from strategy to implementation

Apply to the Fellowship and learn consulting skills through our comprehensive curriculum covering general consulting knowledge, professional development, and a technical overview. After completing the fellowship, fellows become consultants.

Freshmen & Sophomores

Apply to become a consultant on a project team and create impact for real organizations. Gain hands-on industry experience by working on 10-week-long cases with a wide variety of companies. Consultants are continually trained through weekly consultant workshops.

  • No prior technology or consulting experience is necessary. We are looking for potential members with a passion for learning and a drive to build a career in tech/consulting. In addition, we are looking for applicants who will show dedication TCG's values and purposes, engaging with our community.

  • We expect members to attend weekly meetings (1-2 hrs) and an additional 1-2 hours for both fellows and consultants on a client team. In addition, we have socials every few weeks.

  • Admitted members enter their first semester as fellows, where they collectively learn about the recruitment process, implement different software essential for tech consulting, and collaborate in group projects. After their first semester, fellows will be consultants placed on semester-long client projects, opening up avenues to become future PMs, future committee members, and future executives of the organization. Note that dedicated fellows can be chosen to work on a client project during their fellowship semester.

  • No, TCG encourages prospective members of all backgrounds and majors to apply! We have had members from Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, ECE, CBHP/ECB/CSB, and Marketing. We value a diversity of backgrounds and perspectives.

  • We are looking for members who can commit to the organization’s values and visions. Consultants in TCG can be described as driven, creative, team-oriented, passionate, adaptive, and analytical. Additionally, we're seeking members who prioritize building lifelong friendships and fostering a sense of fellowship within our organization.

  • The interview process consists of a series of behavioral questions to get to know you better.
